Meet Dev Biswal, Canterbury's Acclaimed Indian Fusion Chef

Chef Biswal has received national awards and recognition in many major food guides for his unique and innovative menu's.

The fine dining Anglo-Indian restaurant in Canterbury, offering “modern Mumbai dining”, has refreshed the concept as a “hyper local culinary journey” in homage to Geoffrey Chaucer’s 14th century ‘Canterbury Tales’ anthology.

Amongst many concept dishes, Chef Biswal also hosts cooking classes, musical Mondays and his latest passion - culinary tourism.

Dev has won many awards and accolades during his career in the restaurant businesses and is a true ambassador for Canterbury's Castle Quarter and the thriving food scene in Kent's Garden of England, where a rich selection of fresh produce inspires every dish coming out of the kitchen.
